INTERESTING FACTS:
Corot was the leading painter of the Barbizon school of France.
He studied under Achille Etna Michallon and Jean-Victor Bertin.
Corot’s students were Alfred Sisley, Camille Pissarro, Berthe Morisot, Stanislas Lepine, Adolphe Appian, and Dagnan-Bouveret.
He encouraged younger artists to copy his paintings, which he then signed.
